Bigfoot provides an all-inclusive turnkey service solution. We audit and reconcile your assets to their associated maintenance and support contracts. The result of our service is contract consolidation. Our solution is divided into three phases, which are outlined below.
Phase I: Discovery
We use agentless technology to discover all of your assets. This proven technology has been used to discover over 5,000,000 pieces of equipment to date. It is compatible with multiple Operating Systems, including AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, Linux and Windows. Less than ½ of 1% of computing resources will be consumed.
Phase II: Audit
We obtain all OEM contract records with your consent. We perform an audit evaluating 15 critical points of interest, which reveals discrepancies and vulnerabilities in contracts. Many of these are sources of profit loss, including:
- Equipment with no coverage
- Legacy/end of life coverage
- Incorrect coverage
- Coverage on non-existent equipment
- Redundant coverage.
The audit also reveals areas to improve equipment efficiency, including:
- Usage (CPUs, RAM, Disk space)
- Configuration (record accuracy, undetected failures)
- Power consumption
- Footprint size.
Bigfoot completes a manual reconciliation process to finalize the audit phase.
Phase III: Solution Review & Initiation
We develop a solution based on the audit findings and customer standards. Bigfoot presents the findings and the recommended solution, with a line item review. Once the customer approves the recommended changes, we initiate the execution.
